For couples, family & friends

Turn “I should”
into “I promised.”

You already know the small habits that would change your life. Ten push-ups. A walk after dinner. Knowing was never the problem — doing it alone is. Pacts turns a habit into a small promise with one person who cares. You check in; they see it.

Free for you and one other person, forever. Works solo from day one.

This is the whole thing

Two people, a few small pacts, and the number that only exists because there are two of you.

The Pacts home screen for a two-person circle called Alex & Sam, showing “15 days you’ve both kept it”, an 18-day streak, and two pacts: an evening walk marked 2 of 2, and Gym 3×/week at 1 of 3 this week. The Rewards screen: a “Pizza Friday” reward for the whole circle, 18 of 20 kept days done, with two more to unlock. A pact’s check-in day: Alex and Sam both marked kept, an explanation that check-ins lock in after a 12-hour dispute window, and a 15-day personal streak beside 16 days together.

A promise beats a streak counter

Start a small daily pact on your own, then bring in the one person who’ll keep you honest. It’s harder to skip when someone who cares can see it.

🤝

A pact between two people

A couple, a parent and child, two friends. The same commitment, both of you marking it, both of you seeing it. That’s the accountability a solo tracker can’t give you — and it’s the one that actually sticks. (A household or a small crew works too, up to eight.)

You check each other in

Each day, swipe the deck: kept or missed. Mostly you mark yourself — and when someone else can vouch for you, or veto a claim you didn’t earn, that’s the honesty a solo tracker can’t give.

🔥

“Days we both kept it”

Your own streak on every pact — plus the number that only exists because there are two of you: the run of days you both showed up. Nobody wants to be the one who ends it.

🙌

Encouragement, never shame

One-tap cheers and warm affirmations. A missed day is never scolded — you just check in tomorrow.

🎁

Real-world rewards

Attach a treat to a pact — “2 weeks kept → movie night” — for one person, everyone, or the whole circle. Earn it and everyone sees the trophy.

🛡️

The group governs itself

Adding, editing or pausing a pact applies instantly, by any member. Adding a reward, removing a pact, and removing a member are admin-only — so nobody gets ejected on a whim.

Who you make a pact with

Usually one person, and usually someone close. Couples trade nagging for an evening walk both of you mark. Families run the fridge star chart from their pockets — reading before bed, chores, a parent’s morning walk seen from another city. Friends use it as the accountability partner who can’t quietly ghost you, whether you’re in different cities or giving something up. And a household of up to eight can share one board. The pair is the shape that sticks — and the pair is free, forever.

How it works

Three steps, about thirty seconds a day.

Make a pact

Something small and daily — “Gym 3×/week”, “No phones at dinner”, “Read 20 min.” Start from a template if you don’t want to type.

Mark each other

Swipe through the deck each day: ✅ kept, ❌ missed. Mostly you mark yourself — and anyone in your circle can vouch for you, or veto a claim you didn’t earn. A wrong mark can be disputed within a window.

Build the streak

Every pact keeps its own streak — and in a pair, the run of days you both kept it. A missed day is never scolded: one slip a month is forgiven automatically, so a bad Tuesday doesn’t wipe a good month.

Good to know

Does someone else have to mark me?

No — mostly you mark yourself. That’s the normal path, not the exception. What the other person adds is that they see it: they can vouch for a day, mark one for you when it’s obvious, or veto a claim you didn’t earn. It isn’t someone checking up on you; it’s someone who’d notice.

What if a mark is wrong?

Every check-in has a dispute window (12 hours by default). A peer-mark can be flipped by the person marked; a self-claim can be vetoed by anyone else. After the window it locks in — honest without being adversarial.

Is it private?

Yes. Circles are private by default — you join with an invite code, link, or QR, and an admin approves. Your name, your photos (your profile picture, and a circle photo if an admin sets one), and your check-ins are visible only to your circle, enforced by database security rules, not just the app. We don’t sell data or show ads.

Does it cost anything?

Free is a real product, not a trial: you and one other person, up to three pacts, in two circles — with streaks, peer check-ins, cheers, reminders, rewards, and a free grace day every month. Nobody has to pay to join you — and one member’s Pro covers the whole circle, so only one of you ever subscribes.

Pacts Pro (about A$8 a month or A$50 a year — your app store shows your local price) grows a circle to eight people with unlimited pacts and fuller reward ladders, and upgrades grace from monthly to weekly plus the ability to repair a broken day. One member’s Pro covers the whole circle for those, so only one of you ever pays. Your own Pro also unlocks your full history and trends beyond the last 30 days. Cancel any time in your app store.
